Joy Centered Piano & Voice Online Lessons

Lessons are 30 minutes each and once a week. The platforms I use are Zoom and Skype.

 

Rates are:

• $45 per piano lesson 

• $50 for voice only and piano/voice lessons.

• I require 24 hours notice for cancellation or will charge for the full lesson.

• I accept Venmo and Zelle and require payment before the lesson.

Recitals are twice a year in Alameda, California. I create a safe, low-stress, student centered supportive environment where mistakes are normalized. I teach self-regulation tools for dealing with stage fright. At the end of the recital, I facilitate a peer-centered discussion in small groups where each student shares what they liked about the other's playing or singing, encouraging them to use musical terms such as tempo, piano, forte, legato, staccato and crescendo to name a few. Recital contribution depends on the number of participants and is a sliding scale of $15-$20 per student.
