Lessons are 30 minutes each and once a week. The platforms I use are Zoom and Facetime.

 

Rates are:

• $45 per lesson 

• For online lessons I require 24 hours notice for cancellation or will charge for the full lesson.  

• I do not accept any cancellations for in-person lessons. Holidays and school vacations are exempt. I follow the Alameda Unified School District calendar please see school calendar here: AUSD Calendar

• I accept Venmo, Zelle, Cash and require payment before the lesson. ​

Recitals are twice a year in Alameda, California. I create a safe, low-stress, student centered supportive environment where mistakes are normalized. I teach self-regulation tools for dealing with stage fright.

At the end of the recital, I facilitate a peer-centered discussion. In small groups each student shares what they liked about another student's playing or singing. I encourage students to use musical vocabulary such as tempo, piano, forte, legato, staccato, crescendo , etc. Recital contribution depends on the number of participants and is a sliding scale of $15-$20 per student.
